Piano Lesson Info:

Students will receive private lessons and group lessons.  Private lessons will be 30 minutes and will be held once a week.  Master classes (group lessons), will be an hour long and will be held once a month.  In these lessons, the student will learn about composers, different styles of music, theory, and different time periods in music.  He/She will also be able to practice playing the piano in front of his/her peers.  Master classes will replace the student’s private lesson for the week. 

Recitals:  There will be two recitals--one in December and one in May.  Family and friends may attend.

Tuition:  Tuition is paid on a monthly basis at the rate of $40.00 a month per student.  A Family discount will be given if more than 1 student takes lessons.  $40.00 for the first student, $30.00 for the 2nd.  Payment is due with the first lesson of every new month.  A $5.00 late fee will be added to any late payment.

 Fees/Music:  Required music will be purchased by the teacher and reimbursement is expected with the following month’s tuition.  Parents should plan to spend a minimum of $30.00 per year on music.
